Toni received a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Connecticut in 1987, and a degree in Physical Therapy from Hunter College in 1992. Prior to finishing her degrees, Toni completed two Graduate Assistantships as athletic trainer to the State University of New York at Albany and the University of Connecticut. Toni’s main focus is orthopedic and sports medicine, and she continues to explore medical advances in order to provide the most current and effective methods of healing.

Scott earned a BS in Physical Therapy from Ohio State University in 1985, with an early focus on neurological-based rehabilitation. He specialized in neurodevelopment techniques and proprioception neuromuscular facilitation for the treatment of individuals with stroke, spinal cord injury, and head trauma. In 1988, he began a career-long specialization in orthopedic and sports medicine. With extensive and advanced training in spinal and extremity care, Scott employs a dynamic and innovative problem-solving approach to patient care.

Clifford Yun

Clifford Yun is a native New Yorker. He received his undergraduate degree from St. Joseph’s College and doctorate in Physical Therapy from Seton Hall University. Upon graduation he worked for Equinox Fitness Club to understand personal training and the current disconnect between rehabilitation and post-rehab fitness. After Equinox Fitness Club Clifford began work with Australian Physiotherapy Centers as one of their head therapists. During his time with Australian physiotherapy he refined his skills as an orthopedic manual therapist and served as a lab assistant with the center’s associated Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminars (MAPS) assisting instruction of Maitland Physiotherapy techniques. MAPS is owned and run by world renowned physiotherapist Christopher Showalter PT, OCS, FAAOMPT. It is his personal goal to increase public awareness for physical therapy and increase the connection between pre-and post-rehabilitation.

Clifford specializes in limb and spine injuries. He has been an American Academy of Orthopedics Manual Physical Therapist member since graduate school. Clifford was also a leader in the development of a senior fall prevention program at Lenox Hill Senior Center and the Greenwich House Senior Center.

Outside of physical therapy Clifford has participated in the Jingle Bell Arthritis Run, the Five Borough Bike Tour, and is a certified Tai Chi for Arthritis instructor.

Mark Merchant

Mark has been a personal trainer for 15 years, and athletics and fitness has been key to his development as a trainer. His interest in all activities—especially cycling, adventure racing, and kayaking—has exposed him to many different types of training and injuries. Working closely with Toni, Mark has developed a special niche, bridging the gap between injury and return to peak performance.
