Toni received a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Connecticut in 1987, and a degree in Physical Therapy from Hunter College in 1992. Prior to finishing her degrees, Toni completed two Graduate Assistantships as athletic trainer to the State University of New York at Albany and the University of Connecticut. Toni’s main focus is orthopedic and sports medicine, and she continues to explore medical advances in order to provide the most current and effective methods of healing.

Scott earned a BS in Physical Therapy from Ohio State University in 1985, with an early focus on neurological-based rehabilitation. He specialized in neurodevelopment techniques and proprioception neuromuscular facilitation for the treatment of individuals with stroke, spinal cord injury, and head trauma. In 1988, he began a career-long specialization in orthopedic and sports medicine. With extensive and advanced training in spinal and extremity care, Scott employs a dynamic and innovative problem-solving approach to patient care.

Andy Tsui, a licensed physical therapist in both New York and California, earned his masters degree in physical therapy from Columbia University. Additionally he has extensive education in manual therapy and orthopedic manual therapy, including Maitland Australian Physiotherapy, Stanley Paris, Muscle Energy and Ergonomics. His continued effort to broaden his knowledge and deepen his skills enables him to tailor programs specific to each individual’s needs and achieve optimum results. A native of New York, his tenure as a physical therapist took him to California where he worked in a private practice as well as in hospitals exposing him to many diagnoses and their corresponding treatments.

Mark has been a personal trainer for 15 years, and athletics and fitness has been key to his development as a trainer. His interest in all activities—especially cycling, adventure racing, and kayaking—has exposed him to many different types of training and injuries. Working closely with Toni, Mark has developed a special niche, bridging the gap between injury and return to peak performance.

A native of Cagliari in Sardinia, Italy, Alessandra Corona has been a professional dancer and teacher since her teens. Her international dance career drew her first to Rome where she joined the Greco Dance Company and then to New York City in 1991 as a principal dancer of the Ballet Hispanico. After 10 years with the ballet she starred in the Broadway hit “Fosse.” Four hundred stunning performances later, she returned to her love of teaching through training GYROTONICS®. Ms. Corona is a certified instructor of GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® by Juliu Horvath, as well as an authorized instructor of pre-training teachers. Her interest in GYROTONIC® began in 1993 when she turned to GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® to rehabilitate a broken metatarsal, returning to dance after just two weeks. She has been a practitioner since 2003 and has witnessed many such recoveries. “I finally found a way to teach all people how to enjoy moving their bodies…my idea of success is seeing clients improve.”
